Abstract

We present the case of a 71-year-old woman with polyarthralgia, Sicca symptoms, alopecia, Raynaud’s phenomenon, cutaneous vasculitis, and hematuria, who initially displayed a subacute clinical presentation. The initial diagnosis suspicion was Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), our patient presented hypocomplementemia and skin lesions, which later progressed to renal involvement. Clinical suspicion, along with laboratory tests, led to the confirmation of Cryoglobulinemic Vasculitis secondary to Lupus, based on histopathological findings. A multidisciplinary review by the Rheumatology team facilitated the selection of updated therapy tailored to the patient’s condition, supported by appropriate scientific evidence.
